What?
We are a community of movers and dancers in Rochester, NY who get together for Contact Improvisation jams. If you want to learn more about Contact Improv, Contact Quarterly has published a wonderful overview of the form.
Beginners are always welcome to jams, and it’s okay if you arrive late.

Where?
Buffalo Jams
The Jam is on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of Every Month @ Wasteland Studios on 700 Main St. (6th floor) Buffalo, NY 5-8pm. Please contact Nancy Hughes for more info, or join the Buffalo Jam Facebook Group.
Physikos Jams
Jams are hold on Saturdays (once or twice a month) at Physikos movement studio.
Physikos is located at 302 North Goodman Street in Village Gate Square, which is part of Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts
The Saturday jams cost $6 to attend.
UR Jams
During the academic year, the University of Rochester’s Program of Dance and Movement hosts a jam roughly once a month.
The UR jams are held on the River Campus in the Program of Dance and Movement’s studio in Spurrier Gym. The Program’s website has detailed directions and a map.
There is no charge for UR jams.
